I always believe – If you don’t challenge yourself, you will never realize what you can become. When I started my journey I took engineering as a career, because I always believed that’s the best for me. But while pursuing it I have realized my link towards the management field. Taking the right decision for my career was the biggest challenge for me because you never know initially it was right or wrong. But I decided to go ahead with my heart and passion and took a job related to what I like which was a bit difficult to me coming from a totally unknown field. Now I feel if I would not have taken that decision I would have regretted the most. I have seen how UltraTech Cement has grown year on year facing all the challenges and just winning moments at the moment. How they took Jaypee and now Binani and making their distribution channel so strong that nobody is near their competition. I have adapted one thing from them and I try to replicate this in my own life: get aware of what you have and what, analyze the environment and strategize accordingly. Be firm and confident in your decision and always think of sustainability. Challenges will keep on coming and you will keep on learning because learning never stops.
