On personal level, I completed my B.Tech from Birla Vishwakarma Mahavidhyalaya, which is one of the oldest and prestigious institution established by Aditya Birla Group. The name Birla Sun Life Insurance has instilled a sense of security in the minds of Indian people including my family. The contributions which ABG have made towards creating the world’s largest statue, the statue of unity in Gujarat is impeccable. Another example is the Bandra–Worli Sea link in Mumbai.
With operating in 34 countries across five different continents, majority of Aditya Birla Group’s revenue generates from its international business. A USD 44.3 billion worth MNC, ABG has excelled in diversifying into various fields.
For me, life is like a river, which never stops but always mends its way through the rocky paths in the form of challenges, missed opportunities, interests and passions which somehow I followed or left them as tributaries. These characteristics seem to be ephemeral.
In the race of sustenance, there is always a trade-off between Life (river) and challenges (rocks), and no matter how big the rock is, the river flows and reaches its destiny (ocean).
Drawing upon this fact, I have had certain challenges in my life, which have molded me into what I am today and there is no doubt that this has been a great learning throughout.
The biggest and important of all the challenges was leaving my comfort zone and moving out to a new and a different city to pursue my goals. The belief that a person has to make some hard choices at some point of time for the greater good has led me stay in the race. This in turn has helped me stay calm and composed during this present hour. Along with this, I always have hoped that there certainly is light ahead and I just have to keep moving.
Apart from this there is another factor that has played an important role in my life is the support that I have got from my family and closed ones, which I am sure, must have been the case with many of us. The fear of falling reduces a bit when you know you have a support from behind and that has been crucial for me.
Just to conclude, for me the road to overcome our challenges is a rocky one and the best we can do is to keep moving with the best of our efforts.
