Aditya Birla Group in my life, IIM Raipur

The vehicle that I use, the garments that I wear, the mobile network that I use and what not are all comprises of products or parts made by ABG group companies. Apart from daily use products, it also helped a lot in planning my future with its financial services such as Aditya Birla Sunlife mutual fund and insurance using its MyUniverse digital platform. I have been to various places of our country but someone else was also travelling with me, be it in tangible or intangible form such as clothes, FMCG goods or insurance etc. Its presence is everywhere in all parts of our country.

Apart from business activities, ABG is also known for its corporate social activities with welfare driven initiatives especially in rural areas. Knowingly or unknowingly, we all are using its products. In short, I would like to say that “Not only present but my future is also linked with Aditya Birla Group’s growth”

How you overcame challenges to achieve your ambitions in life so far?

I have completed my Engineering in 2016 from a government institute and during final year of graduation I was given responsibility of Training and Placement Student Branch Co-ordinator wherein I have to work with a team for organising campus recruitment processes which includes activities such as contacting companies and convince them to visit campus, hospitality of corporates and conducting placement drive smoothly.  The challenge we have to deal with was to get new companies in campus and facilitate recruitment process with limited facilities of computer labs and interview rooms. I believe in patience, team work and perseverance and it is the solution to each and every problem. I have distributed tasks among team members such as some members had to contact companies, some had to reserve auditorium, interview and GD rooms and some had to look after student data, resumes and other administrative work. We have continued to follow the same process and somehow managed to handle more than 3 companies in a single day and continued to follow the same process more efficiently by incorporating improvements from time to time. It helped in increasing my confidence to face new challenges and taught us the importance of team work.
