To give you a flavor of what MBA interviews actually look like, we bring to you our interview re-enactment series where we collect interview experiences from Bschool students and present their re-enacted versions. Ruchi Mehta is a student of IIM Calcutta. She is an engineer with work experience as a software engineer at JP Morgan Chase. Her answers were detailed and crisp, and her ability to answer technical questions related to her work experience stood out in the interview. How An Interview Changed My Perspective Of MBA : My BITSoM Interview

In November 2021, shortly after giving CAT, I learnt about BITSoM through a LinkedIn article. My interest in BITSoM was piqued in particular by the mention of Dr. Ranjan Banerjee as the Dean. I was fascinated, but I held off on applying until I finished my examinations. Before applying in January 2022, I wanted to learn more about the school, so I contacted a few BITSoM students on LinkedIn and gained a much deeper understanding of the institution. I applied in the second round of application after learning about the course offerings, instructors, and opportunities for exposure at BITSoM.

My BITSoM Interview Experience | Avi Jain, Co'24

My BITSoM experience, in short, was the most conversational and breezy interview experience I’ve had till date. There were two panellists, one from the admissions team at BITSoM and the other was an alumnus of BITS Pilani. They covered profile based questions along with behavioral questions and a little deep dive into my work. It was an extremely seamless interview, even though it was online on zoom.
