Journey of battling obstacles in my life
Being born in a middle-class business family in the streets of coal capital of India i.e Dhanbad, life has not been much complicated for me. From the very early childhood, I have always been an academically bright student who loves to read self-help books. Just like the expectation of other middle-class families, my family has always encouraged me to do well in academics. I still remember in my childhood days, I never got much opportunity to show my skills in sports and other extra-curricular activities. After completing my high school from my hometown, I went to Delhi to get a more diversified opportunity and finally completed my graduation in bachelor in commerce from Delhi University. Those 3 years of college were a roller coaster ride for me. It was very difficult for a guy who comes from such a small home town to go big in toe crushing competitive environment. Lack of communication and presentation skills made my journey even worse for me. Even thinking about those days gives me a chill down the spine. But with the help of my college teacher and my mentor, I worked on myself and was able to improve my presentation skills. That was the most mind-boggling challenge for me but somehow I was able to overcome it. Further, in my journey in Delhi, I faced other numerous obstacles but being an avid reader of self-help books and having never give up attitude protected me from getting low. After completing my graduation, I landed up in the embankment of the corporate world and there I faced totally different obstacle like managing the human resource. Theoretical knowledge that I have gathered didn’t me help much in the jungle of the corporate world. There I faced varieties of the problem but again with the grace of almighty I was able to nail it. And now I am here, pursuing my MBA, which is altogether a different journey, facing a plethora of problems every single day and learning how to tackle them. From my journey, Life has taught me that there will always be some problems waiting for you in every corner of life. It is your attitude to see it as a problem or an opportunity.
