I literally waited for the whole of my time slot, waiting for the screen to pop open. At one point, I was checking the dates and time if I had seen it right. I would say just wait for them, they will come eventually.

There were two panelists- two male professors, one in the 40s and the other in the 50s. ( M1, M2 respectively). I will denote myself with P.

M1 did not ask anything, he was just pacing right to left.

M2: Hi Sanjana

P- Good afternoon sir.

M2: Good afternoon! No, wait it's almost good evening.

P: (Almost taken aback) Umm. Yes sir, Good evening.

M2: Tell us something about yourself.

P: Told well-prepared answer. But for some reason, they did not ask anything so I blurted out a thank you.

M2: You finished the interview already ( Both laughing like crazy)

P: No sir, I just…….( Laughed with them a bit)

M2: What are your fav subjects?

P: …..( Was about to Ans when)

M2: Are you in your final year or done with your degree?

P: Sir, Final year.

M2: Ok, tell me your favorite subjects.

P: Macroeconomics and microeconomics sir.

M2: Which topics in macroeconomics?

P: IS-LM model sir. (Honestly, I couldn't think of any except this.)

M2: Why do you like the IS-LM model, it's so monotonous. (laughing)

P: Sir, this was a different type of model, we read this for the first time during our grad. Our teacher gave practical examples like demonetization to explain it….( was going to say more)

M2: Explain in really short, demonetization effects through IS-LM.

P: Told. Made a little mistake. Smiled. Answered right one.

M2: Gave a long story on how I was wrong.

P- Told that he was right to a certain extent, but explained my rationale behind the answer. (He seemed satisfied)

M2: Won't there be any change or shifts in the curve.

P: Said no because there is a change in money supply and financial market.

M2: He said why? Haven't you read the transmission mechanism. What is it?

P: Told.

M2: Why is LM curve upward sloping?

P: Told.

M2: No, that is not right. Why will interest rise induce the money supply to be less?

P: Told (seemed okay then)

M2: You like micro right?

P: Yes sir (Thinking he would ask more)

M2: Any other IIM calls?

P: Yes sir

M2: Which?

P: Told

M2: Thank you, you can log out.

Overall an okay experience, could have been better. It was kind of stressful during some points, but honestly, you don't feel a lot in 6–7 minutes.

Verdict: Converted.
