How Many Days Will It Take To Recover Your MBA Program Fee?

Well, you can't actually put nmims in the same slot as IIT and IIMs... because the fees of nmims doesn't include the accomodation fee which is quite high since it is in prime Mumbai area. Also since accommodation is outside, there comes a travel component to the expenses involved. So the total expenses could be some 5-8L over the fees

Iam quite surprised to see the inhand salry to top graduates touching 1.5 lakh per month...isnt it u generalised it from avg ctc..which is not the perfect way to calculate the salry and days to recover the fees..

Hi. You're quite right when you say that average CTC is not a highly reliable data point. This is why we have also included the same calculations on the median CTCs of the various B-schools in this report. :)

Let me point two important facts about the two institutions offering the highest RoI. Firstly, recently FMS has increased its fees. Now it is around 47,600 per semester. Making the overall fees in the vicinity of 2,00,000. And secondly, when talking about the two institutions offering the highest RoI, the fees of TISS, Mumbai includes hostel accommodation and mess charges, while the meagre 21,000 fees of FMS,Delhi is only the college fees and doesn't include hostel fees or food expenses. The fees of TISS, Mumbai for a non-hostler is around 1,10,000. So, in all, the recent amendments in the fees structure, makes TISS, Mumbai atop of FMS, Delhi in terms of RoI.

Has the interest been included for the moratium (I am not sure if I spelled it right) and post that calculated. After talking around, I have learnt most colleges 15+ lacs take 4-6 years to repay the loan.

You should have considered 70% of the CTC as in-hand salary.
