I was amused when I first came to know that the products of Louis Philippe, Allen Solly, Van Heusen, and Peter England which I use daily were from one of India's biggest multinational conglomerates, Aditya Birla Group (ABG). When it comes to product quality and after-sales customer services these products have never disappointed me, that being one prime reason why I can proudly say that I am a trusted customer of Aditya Birla Group. When every manufacturer boasts about their product quality, what makes Aditya Birla Group stand out from them is their commitment towards the society. The ABG runs over 5000 medical camps, 46 schools, and 5 hospitals. Their various projects including the midday meal program for children, polio immunization for children have always reiterated the fact that they are not just another company. Their vision is clear. They want to eradicate the term "underprivileged" from the world.
One may argue that the Aditya Birla Group is able to come up with these initiatives since they are making huge profits from their business. But before giving a thought to such a question what we need to answer first is "Are we doing our part?". As an organization and a trusted group, they have taken a lot of effort to uplift society. Being a company that carries such strong values and is trying to pour humane values into society, it is no wonder why they have a strong place in the hearts of the people.
They are doing their part to make this world a better place. Being an Indian, I'm proud and honoured to say that I come from a place where Aditya Birla Group took its first footsteps!

NAME: Jitesh Sivakumar Nair
One of the biggest challenges I have faced in my life is when I took the decision to resign from my previous company to engage myself fully in a startup of my own. I wanted to create an E-commerce platform for the sales of apparels. I do not know when I started dreaming about this. I didn't have any previous experience either in the apparel industry or the E-commerce industry. All I had was the trust in myself, in my capabilities. After a year of struggles and indefinite wanderings, I realized I was failing miserably. I was left in no man's land. I didn't know what to do and how to proceed. To put it simply, I was doomed. There were people who laughed at the time when I quit my previous job. I gave them yet another chance to laugh. But like a wise man once said, whatever doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. I learned a lesson from my experience. I learned the importance of education and got to know how much education in the field of management would have made my path easier. When the CAT results were out, it was life, giving me a second chance to prove myself that I'm not done yet. I got admission in one of the best management institutes in the country, IIM-Trichy. I have not fulfilled my dreams yet. I have just begun my journey. When I look back one thing life taught me is that there is nothing that matches the combination of education and experience. Life always gives a second chance to the people who are not ready to give up. I won't give up. And I will achieve my dream. If not today, someday.
