Hi, Tell us about how you got selected for this internship? Take us through the moment you realized you had got the internship.
It is one of the special days in my life as I sat for the pre-placement talk and then went for the process. I was a bit confident and a bit nervous; as I was about to sit in the interview process for the market leader of India's frozen food snacks market. My interview was a 25 minutes journey from earth to the moon, where I answered many intriguing questions about my profile and interest. Although the length of the interview doesn't qualify whether you get in or not, this time, I was pretty much confident about my interview and was expecting good news. I waited the whole day for those four magical words: "Congratulations: You are selected." and luckily, I received the mail with those four magical words.
On joining the company as an intern, how has your onboarding experience been like?
The experience was amazing. It was a smooth and informative onboarding process. The company mentor allotted to me and the HR made me feel comfortable and gave detailed descriptions regarding the project. I know it is too early to say, but they treated me as another McCain employee, not just an intern.
