MBA aspirant, optimist and an ambivert. Love talking with people and a great listener.

I have zero knowledge of GK and current affairs, In the 2 XAT mocks I have taken, I have scored 1 and 1.5 marks. Having said this, is it suggestible for me to start preparing for Gk..? Or should I focus on other parts..? Please do suggest, I am confused and a bit scared of this.

I have almost zero knowledge of GK and current affairs. In the past 2 XAT mocks I have taken, I have scored 1 and 2 marks. Being said this, is it suggestible for me to start preparing for GK now..? Or is it ok leaving behind..? I have read in the article saying that, it plays a role in the final selection. Can you please elaborate on that. I mean, is it that, among 2 candidates having the same overall interview percentage, the one with a higher GK score will be given a priority..? or Does it have some dedicated weightage during final selection..?
