The final placement report for XLRI Delhi-NCR’s inaugural batch (2020-22) has been released. The 71 students of XLRI Delhi’s first batch who were a part of the combined placement process achieved a 100% placement record. IIM Calcutta has successfully completed the final placement process for the class of 2022, placing its 465-strong batch. IIM Calcutta has recorded tremendous placement figures this final placements season, and saw an impressive 17 percent increase in the average salary offered, while the median salary increased by 14 percent over the previous year and stood at INR 31 lakhs. A total of 190 recruiters participated in the final placements process, including top brands like McKinsey & Co., TAS, Amazon, Unilever, Goldman Sachs and many others. IIM Sambalpur has registered a 12.68% rise in average salary which has gone up at Rs.12.64 LPA, and a 10.33% rise in median salary which has gone up at Rs.11.42 LPA with zero opt-outs. With more than 65% of the batch opting for firms in IT and BFSI which emerged as the most sought-after sectors, followed by Consulting and Manufacturing.
