The three necessities for anyone in this world- ROTI, KAPDA and MAKAAN and many MORE, from Insulators to Insurance, to the best private engineering college in India- BITS PILANI, all are fulfilled by the Aditya Birla Group. Just like everyone else’s, the ABG has been and still is present in every walk of my life. Starting from the groceries bought in MORE MEGA STORE for all the household chores to the VODAFONE network that helps me stay connected to my family back home to the PANTALOONS and FOREVER 21 where I shopped before joining college, the ABG is literally OMNIPRESENT. Not to forget, the ULTRA TECH CEMENT with which the building I am residing in was built.
Specifically, it is ADITYA BIRLA FASHION and RETAIL LTD. that I can more closely relate to because of the Shopping lover that I am. Be it the huge variety of Kurtis at PEOPLE, the cute dresses at PANTALOONS or the easily accessible online platform ABOF or even the SOLLY blazer that I wore for my IIM-V interview, they make me feel confident about myself and never fail to bring the best out of me or as we would say DRESS FOR SUCCESS. I am also a big-time user of the ADITYA BIRLA PAYMENTS BANK, that gives me the advantage of one click solution for all the money matters. Therefore, not even a day in my life goes by without using an ABG product and it has become a part and parcel of my life.
It is easy to just say, FAILURES ARE THE STEPPINGSTONES TO SUCCESS but when they really hit you, it is then you realize that it is not so easy to stay put and get everything together and going again. I consider myself to be fortunate enough to have been able to do that.
I considered making a career in the CIVIL SERVICES during my engineering and hence started preparing right after. Being one among the top scorers my entire life, I assumed it would be, if not a cakewalk, at least a tad bit easier for me. However, despite putting in my best efforts and attempting twice, I could not make it. Getting rid of that baggage of not clearing UPSC and doing something meaningful in my life again was the biggest challenge I ever faced. The reality then struck me that we do not always get what we want but we should always make the best out of what we get. Even the missile man of India, DR. A.P.J. ABDUL KALAM wanted to be a pilot but did not lose hope when he couldn’t get through and the rest is history. Hence, I then decided that if not public administration, I could try getting into PRIVATE ADMINISTRATION and give my best there. Ultimately, giving back to the society is what mattered to me the most and I figured that I could do that by being a part of the CIVIL SOCIETY as well. Therefore, here I am pursuing my M.B.A and on my way to transform every challenge yet to come into an opportunity.
