There is a very popular adage ,”Something that doesn't kill you , makes you stronger ”. I could not agree more with it as it was something that stuck to me and literally kept me alive through all these testing yet thrilling 7 years of my life.
My will to “Never give up” coupled with mentoring and leadership skills that I inculcated during the 3 toughest years of my trainee life at one of the most prestigious and toughest military training academies, National Defence Academy, Pune turned this young studious lad from a small town of Bahadurgarh into this hardworking and passionate person who is molded to lead from the front in every domain of his life now.
I got commissioned in Indian Navy on 26th November 2015 as an executive officer onboard Indian Naval Ship Ezhimala and its 60 odd sailors for the next 18 months as the junior officer and brought the CONS(Chief Of Naval Staff) recommendation to our ship. I got trained for a year at another prestigious and largest naval academy in Asia, Indian Naval Academy, Kerala where I learned about ships, navigation, communication, ship handling, map reading and many more aspects of how this particular industry works and even did many friendly military exercises with other nations as well.
It was my dream to be a part of the IIM fraternity and I got a chance to prove my metal here in this prestigious campus of IIM Rohtak, which adds another huge feather to my hat. I am learning here the application of my knowledge in research and development to increase and optimize the desired output in a business. I aspire to be a manager at ABG who would help my seniors and peers to drive the workplace I am associated with to scale new heights of success with my hard work and the extensive network I have built while working for the navy.
It was one of my dream companies that I craved to work with. Sir, I am a very competitive individual and my past career speaks for my achievements. I hope my work with Navy and IIM would give me a chance to work with your firm. I would be giving my 100% every-time and everywhere. I will learn from ABG as much as I can and will put to use my military experience and training to bring in new virtues, values and effectiveness to your organization.
ABG played a major and vital role while I came out of the Indian Navy as it was my dream company at that time and that's how I got motivated towards it.
