I left my job at the age of 26 after suffering from a bout of depression. I was working with a huge MNC but I wasn’t able to fit in; I did not enjoy going to office and I was severely unhappy with the work that I was doing. Most of all, I had issues with my manager (sounds familiar?) who was a misogynist and would expect me to act subserviently. To add to my miseries, I had a very uncooperative team who would find it very normal for a manager to expect sycophancy from his juniors. So, I decided to resign and look for better career options in order to re-instill faith in myself in terms of my ability to succeed in life. As I was browsing the internet, I came across an advertisement by Career Launcher which flashed discount offers for their online courses (all that I could afford at that moment). I enrolled for the same and the rest, as they say, is history. Well, nothing that dramatic, but one whole year of sheer hard work and perseverance helped me turn my ‘MBA’ dream into reality. As I write this story, I feel glad to have come so far and definitely count this as one of my better decisions in life.
