The Aditya Birla Group is one of premier business conglomerate of India. It started as a Jute Manufacturing Company in 1919, and subsequently transformed into a leading multi-product corporation covering varied business sectors. The ABG has contributed a lot in the development of the nation. This was again proved by ABG on 31stOctober 2018. On the twitter account of UltraTech Cement a tweet was there which stated as follows: “We take immense pride in helping build the Statue of Unity”. I visited the place on 10thNovember 2018 and was left dazzled by the beauty of statue. The statue devoured 22500 mton of cement and as the UltraTech Cement tagline suggests it is truly the Engineers Choice. ABG group in one way or the other touches everyone life. Apart from this incident I can proudly say that I am a postpaid user of Idea Cellular. Peter England has always been my favorite brand when it comes to clothing. The most important thing about ABG is its constant focus on quality and uncompromising nature when it comes to quality. So whenever I see an ABG product, I get a sense of surety that the product will be good. ABG is something which you can rely on. ABG is also involved in another important project for India: The Bullet Train. The continuous reliance of government on ABG for such important projects is due to the assurance of quality ABG provide. ABG in itself is not just a company; it’s the nation’s pride.
I always wanted to do MBA but my father wanted me to join any government job as he was in a government job. For him a government job means safety of future. After completing my graduation I appeared for MBA alongside the government jobs. I got through IIM Kashipur in 2015 and also Bank of Baroda for the post of Assistant Manager. My father advised me to join Bank of Baroda and I did that but there was always a little sadness about not being able to do MBA. I started preparing for MBA while I was still working. I saved money for three years while I was working and converted IIM Raipur in 2018. Now the major problem was how to convince my father and not just my father but the society as well that I want to leave a permanent government job for an MBA. My father said an instant no in the beginning and said that he will not fund my education. Even after several attempts to convince him I was not successful. Now it was up to me. Either to stay in the same job and sulk for whole life or leave my job and go for MBA. I decided to go ahead and in the subsequent months my father also agreed that it was a bold step but a right step. I realized many things from this incident but the most important one was that if you want to achieve your ambition, you have to take risk. If you want to achieve something, go for it.
