This tale began when I was just about to turn 13, almost a decade ago when we were planning to move to a new home. I got a little upset when I heard about moving out this house as I was attached to the house indefinitely. This is the house where I was born and grew up. The time I got my first cycle, markings of my growing height on the walls, and lots of unforgettable memories attached to the house. Apart from all this, the other half of me was over excited by the fact of celebrating my 13th birthday in the new house. I had invited all my friends for the celebration and I never missed a chance to speak to anyone about the new house as it had got me all excited and I couldn’t wait for the day we moved in.
It was all planned, the house was very close to my school and all our relatives’ places were at a mere distance. The new house was going to be bigger than the previous house. My siblings and I were supper excited to move into a new place, explore the new things around, meet new people and make friends and what not. Apparently the only constraint was the funding for the house about which I overheard when the adults were discussing. This might have pushed the move in date post to my birthday and Thinking about this made me get upset.
The discussion took a while but they came to a conclusion which was Aditya Birla Housing Finance. The company which was there for our need at the right time. ABG was always present during parts of my life, maybe indirectly in the form of tiffin wraps, the clothes I wore or what not but this was when I recognized its presence and actually felt it. ABG, at that moment was not only a monetary support but also turned out to be our mental support. The new house changed the phase of our life and it was all possible because of the Helping Hand brought forward by Aditya Birla Group.
ABG- Aditya Birla Group, has been directly or indirectly involved in every Indian individual’s life and has affected their lives in one way or the other. An Indian Multinational Conglomerate, spread across the country with over a Lac of citizens putting in their efforts to make our lives much easier and better have been a part of my Life in an extraordinarily emotional aspect and will always continue to be.
PART (B) : How I Overcome Challenges To Achieve My Ambition In Life So Far?
It was the last day of our exam. This was the day where most of us were meeting for the last time. All of us gave our best wishes to each other and promised to keep in touch. Days past but not everyone kept their promises and slowly everyone got separated.
Everyone moved on in their lives, got jobs, few had Start Ups of their own and then there was me. I was sitting at home 24 hours, 7 days of the week without any job appointment letter in my hand. It had been 7 months now. I had attended plenty of interviews, visited multiple companies but the response was always negative. A day came by when my relatives started giving taunts about my work life and in fact I had to move out of my house due to certain circumstances. But I never gave up; I went and attended more and more interviews, asked friends for recommendations but nothing worked.
It was one winter evening, after a stressful day of job hunting I was waiting for the bus at the bus stop and I saw a poster stuck on one of the walls. It was about a new start up company which was hiring fresher with a decent salary offering. It said “Walk-In for the Interview”. I immediately made a note of the address and prepared myself for the next day. The job profile was of a BPO Tele Caller.
Next day I went for the interview and saw there were many candidates waiting for their turn. Initially I lost hope thinking the position will be filled pretty soon. But I had decided no matter what, I will not let myself down today. This day is going to be a life turner for me. Then it was my turn, I walked inside the cabin and presented myself with all the confidence. The interviewer asked me to wait in the waiting room with other candidates. Hours passed by but there was no response.
It was almost getting dark and the assistant came out to read the names of the shortlisted candidates. The assistant read the names one after the other and I never heard my name. In the end, when the assistant read out the names of first seven candidates, the eighth name was mine. My heart started pounding heavily on hearing my name. There was no limit to my joy; I was in the 7th heaven. I had finally made a mark in my life. That day I felt extremely proud about myself.
It was all my dedication, hard work and the stubbornness to never give up which paid off in the end. I learnt a moral lesson that day. It was to never give up on anything and always be in pursuit of achieving what you want in life and succeed. it will be the best feeling of your life and with this positive attitude, even your Life will Never Let you Down!
