The above-mentioned companies are the few cherries to the big Aditya Birla Group (ABG) empire. The ABG has far-reaching impact in my life, keeping fresh the food made by my mother while on the journey from home to achieving my dreams at IIM Rohtak. Helping India build great infrastructure which we use daily, helping me connect with my loved ones and getting connected to the world with seamless mobile connectivity. Securing my future by managing my small SIP and compounding it annually. The Aditya Birla Group is making my life BIG by providing various products and services directly and indirectly.
Apart from the gigantic business empire there are various lessons to learn from the Aditya Birla group, being patient and sailing strongly in difficult times, the Idea ltd after facing the tough challenge from the JIO, losing market share and revenues keep itself firm and took a step-back, regrouped, merger and came back with full strength by becoming the largest telecom service provider in India. This reminds me of a tough patch of my life I faced in 2011, I took a year drop after my 12th to prepare for the prestigious IIT JEE exams. Moved to a new city with hopes and energy I lost track in some time and drop year was a set-back in my life, but I kept my patience and regrouped myself and joined an engineering college where I perceived hard resulting being one of the first to get placed in a reputed multinational IT company.
The social causes undertaken by the company also motivates a person to give back to society. The recent contribution of 15mn pound to the London Business School gives one an inspiration to work for society and help build a stronger society. While working in TCS, I had joined the purpose4life initiative focused on providing education to underprivileged. As a part of the volunteers visited nearby government school located in the rural parts and taught them the basics. This volunteering task has its own challenge one of being managing time as we had to commit early morning hours before going to our jobs, but the satisfaction of providing something to the society and helping the underprivileged but enthusiastic children kept me going an extra mile.
The Aditya Birla Group is a true inspiration, impacting millions of lives, contributing towards a strong and developed India.
