I belong to a remote village in Kannur district of Kerala. Like any other kid who grew up in villages I had to face and overcome many challenges like malnutrition, poor healthcare facilities and lack of exposure to languages other than my mother tongue that is Malayalam.
Before joining this MBA program I have done my graduation in Mechanical engineering and worked in 3 different jobs first as a lecturer in a poly technic college where I taught engineering mechanics and fluid mechanics, second as a quality engineer in manufacturing industry and the last as a proprietor in my own retail store, acquiring the skills required for those three jobs which have very little in common was the major challenge I have faced in my professional life so far.
I consider getting an admission to one of country’s best business schools as one of my biggest achievements. my journey to IIM has not been easy, as the admission test and the processes after that test the proficiency in English language to which I had little exposure, I had to work harder than most of my batch mates to be where I am now which I did with my utmost dedication and determination.
