Pantaloons fashion and retail store is my one and only stop for EID shopping. It has enhanced my shopping experience. In 2018, I was going through my training at Kerala, I needed to do the shopping for my sister’s wedding. I was running short of time as I needed to attend the ceremony on time. It was a very critical situation, fortunately, on landing, I straight went to pantaloons and within 30 minutes I did all the shopping. Thus, pantaloons made me fall “in love with fashion”.
There are thousands of stories like me, where Aditya Birla group has transformed numerous individuals through their products or various rural development activities. The group runs around 56
schools to provide education to underprivileged communities. It also runs around 20
hospitals, general medical camps, child health care, etc.The Yashogami Skills Training Centre provides training to women in skills such as fashion design, tailoring, handicraft and hence creating an opportunity for employment to thousands of village women. In the year 2007, the acquisition of Novelis Inc., a leading manufacturer in CAN recycling and aluminium rolling. Thus, leading to sustainable development. Thus, the Aditya Birla group has achieved the masses to raise their lives, to take care of their dreams.Hence, truly fulfilling its responsibility and duty towards the nation and society.
In school, when I used to watch the students speaking fluently, with fearless voices that would melt the heart. I used to wonder and ask myself, “Why can’t I be the same?”. This thought got to stick to me for years. But it had a negative impact on my personality. I became more resistive to change, thinking that I can never be like them. I started assuming other’s perceptions about me. I definitely did not feel completely fine.
As the years passed on, I created huge self-made barriers that had a huge impact on my social life as well as personal. In 2013, I took admission in the college for my undergraduate course. Before joining the college, I started analysing myself so that I can create a totally new and enhanced version of mine. I entered college with an open mind-set. Fortunately, I participated in my first ever debate
competition, which I totally ruined.
But I decided to break self-assumed barriers. I started working on my public speaking skills, within one year I got the opportunity to be the winner of a national level debate competition at Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi.
Thus, I was able to achieve my ambition of public speaking by overcoming the virtual, self-made barriers of fears. Since then I have totally changed and developed my social and personal life by working in a team and holding various roles of responsibility. I have also trained my colleagues at the university in improving their communication skills. Now, I am a true believer of a positive attitude for learning.
