I have always been a bright student throughout my schooling. I was first in class, won a lot of competitions, good at sports. In all sorts, I was the ideal student. It was all good and rosy till I reached my graduation, then bursts the bubble which I have been living all my life in. All of a sudden, I was competing with essentially 100s of people who are as smart as me if not smarter. The real challenge was to fight for my ground here, at this stage of my life and I did just that. I changed my perception towards everything in college and worked towards concentrating on the process rather than just bothering for results. I graduated with flying colours but my internship at ERLDC and at Kalyani Distribution Substation, I realized these were not the type of jobs or challenges I was looking forward to in my life. I felt I was destined for greater things and thus came the challenge of CAT. With my ever-evolving perfect perception towards life, I embarked on this journey of CAT and ended up in one of the best B-schools in the country, Indian Institute of Management Kashipur where I am in the top 5 students of my batch, won the winners’medal for Table Tennis at IIM Rohtak and most recently selected as an youth delegate by the Government of India to represent our country. Focusing on the process rather than results has been one of the key reasons for my success and I am not done yet. I believe I have more to offer to society and I hope to embark upon that journey as soon as possible.
The magnitude of challenges I faced might seem smaller or bigger for a person outside of my life, but for good or worse I got through all of them and achieved all the things I wanted to and took possession of what is rightfully mine.
