Part – B
From the time when an embryo begins to develop inside his mother’s womb until the time of his death, he faces many so many challenges throughout his lifetime. And life is never partial to anyone in this regard. The only difference that lies in the spirit with which a person deals with those challenges and overcomes thru them. As far as my life is concerned I have always been a survivor. When I was 13 years old my father passed away leaving me and my mother, to begin with, our challenges with life. Although my mother was a working woman since the beginning she was always dependent on my father. But now with his absence, she started dealing with things on her own and I started helping her in any way I could. With time she became dependent on me and I was depending on her. I wanted to be an engineer and she wanted me to be with her, so I choose a college within the city itself and completed my degree. Everything was going fine till the time campus placements hit me. I got placed in a very prestigious organisation but the main challenge was to leave her alone and move to a totally different city for the first time. I was feeling a heavy mix of emotions with one side my career and on the other side was my mother. But with a heavy heart, both of us bid farewell to each other with eyes full of tears and a hope in mind that I will return to my city as soon as I finish my training. It’s been 5 years now and the struggle still continues. The only difference from my first departure and the rest was that I can see a sense of satisfaction in her eyes that I am progressing towards achieving a good life that she always wanted for me and I hope to make her feel proud of me.
