One thing I still cannot believe is that within such a short span of time, I made so many beautiful memories and have something to remember by for each day spent here at IIFT. When an owl delivered my Hogwarts letter from IIFT, my dreams were no longer dreams, they got wings. Now, these wings needed a flight and I understood that I needed to work hard from the very beginning to fulfil this journey I have already embarked upon. The pre-induction programme taught me to handle the pressure a corporate life entails, the true value of friendship and I also became utmost certain that these are going to be the best two years of my life.
It all started with the induction programme and the xx:59:59 submission nightmares, late night coffee trips and fights over loo which eventually resulted into some of the most memorable trivia of my life.
As Bill Pullman says, “I like those crisis moments- If you are on top of it, and don’t get pulled under by panic and fear, it’s a very strong bonding thing.”
The presentations, the assignments and the projects brought out the best in all of us and turned us from strangers to lifelines for each other and together we stared at adversity right in the face.
“That’s a great story. Can I eat it?”
---Joey, F.R.I.E.N.D.S. (1994-2004)
That was our exact situation during the Induction period where food took priority over everything else and survival of the fittest was the rule of the jungle.
The best part of IIFT, according to me are my roomies and loomies (yeah, we share the same loo). Sharing a loo with 5 other people, waking each other up in the morning, sharing countless stories and gossips and eating from the same plate made our bonding even stronger. One thing I am pretty sure about is that whatever lows I would go through in my life, this bunch of crazies will stay by me.
The best memory of IIFT in these two weeks is the exhilarating feeling of my hard work paying off when I got selected as a Junior Club Coordinator for Socrates- the Strategy and Consulting Club of IIFT. After two days of gruelling night GDs and interviews extending till 5:30 am, we finally heaved a sigh of relief. Then came the most amazing party ever, a surprise thrown by our seniors for coming out of all this unscathed and with flying colours.

ABG Company:
The aspect which would excite me the most for working with Aditya Birla Group apart from the strong legacy it carries and its association with a Fortune 500 company, is that I really appreciate and personally stand by the values of integrity, commitment, passion, seamlessness and speed ABG illustrates. The venture of ABGL which I would be eager to work for is the Idea Payments Bank (UPI) primarily for two reasons. The first reason being, Idea is only the 4th company to launch UPI services and this sector is the future of banking in India. The second reason is, this being a highly competitive sector, with technologies changing frequently, can prove to be a huge learning curve for me.
