Enrichment of mankind by Aditya Birla Group and my chronicle of challenges -Vinod Gupta School of Management, IIT Kharagpur.

Another encounter with this conglomerate happened when I went to the construction site of an apartment my father booked when we shifted to a new city. There my father asked the civil engineer about what material they are using and is it strong and trustworthy or not. The engineer replied at the next moment that ‘An engineer’s choice’ is always Ultratech cement. So, I can say that my family and my property is safe in an ABG product.

The big test in any youngster’s life is his first job interview. When I had to go for formal clothes shopping for my interview, I went to PETER ENGLAND. So, again an ABG product played a big role in my life being a part in the process of getting my first job.

I am sure Aditya Birla Group will keep enriching the lives of people as it did for me through its products fulfilling its vision and mission.

Part B:

Challenges are a part of life. But striving through it and making an impact is a sign of a winner. Like everyone, I too faced few odds in my life.

During the third year B.tech, we planned to organize a non- technical event in our college fest since all events and conference happening in our institute were purely technical. I took the initiative and became an elected president of that event. We organized a successful event. The event was well appreciated by University and was carry forwarded. It will organize its fourth edition in the upcoming month. After judging my role as a president of this event, the Institute made me the Joint secretary of a National conference on recent trends in chemical engineering and technology. But the real challenge was to set up this national conference from the scratch within a span of twenty days. Also, it was a Platinum Jubilee year of institute. So, the event had to be grand and perfect. We accepted the challenge and organized a great conference setting an example. The previous experience helped me to get the things done in a stipulated time.

Another big thing that happened in my life was very devastating. I got a job after graduation but I was posted in a very remote place. Even proper food was not available and work also involved a lot of physical exertion. At the same time, I was preparing for MBA entrance exams. This badly affected my health and after trying all the options, I had to leave my job. It was a big let-down to myself. But getting sad and broke was not an option. I gathered myself, looked after my health, prepared well and fulfilled my ambition of studying in the premium B-school of India.

I have always found an efficient way to solve and come out of any situation. Ultimately, creating an impact despite the odds and taking steps ahead to achieve my ambitions.
