How ABG has become a part of my life??- SCMHRD

During my struggling days when I was the only girl in entire mechanical batch of 120 students, Hindalco’s Superwrap Aluminium Foil kept my tiffin warm & palatable and also helped me to find out foodie buddies and slowly friends for life.

During summer vacation, we enjoyed in my uncle’s farmhouse under Aluminium roofing of Hindalco by playing games and being protected from hot summer rays.

And that backyard of my house having my mom’s garden has grown beautifully and credit goes to ‘Indo Gulf Fertilizers’, a part of ABG that provides green environment with fresh air & happiness with proud to my mom. Indo Gulf Fertilizers is the largest private sector fertilizer companies in India.

I still remember that during the starting phase of my graduation, my dad gifted me a new mobile. That was the first mobile phone of mine with Vodafone sim card inside it. ‘Vodafone Idea Limited’ is an Aditya Birla Group and Vodafone Group partnership. It is the leading telecom service provider in India and second largest globally. That is the part of ABG still being with me helping me to connect my family anytime anywhere. Though different mobiles have been changed but sim card is still the same.

ABG always provides safety with ‘Birla tyres’ when I travel from one place to another using my 2-wheeler. It has always been a companion and has traveled along with me in my journey. Birla tyres are quality tyres and provides innovative new ranges. It provides safer and comfortable ride by utilizing superior technology.

How can I forget blushing smile with big dimple on my sister’s face when I gifted a dashing purse from ‘Pantaloons’ on Rakhi day with my first salary and I jumped with joy with the return gift of formal ‘Allen Solly’ shoes. That tight hug was captured and saved as a memory in a corner of my mind. After that day, on our every festival whether its Diwali or birthday, we never miss to visit Pantaloons, Louis Philippe, Allen Solly, Peter England for our shopping. Pantaloons is a fashion retail store, owned by the Aditya Birla Group. Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Limited (ABFRL) emerged after the consolidation of the branded apparel businesses of Aditya Birla Group comprising ABNL's Madura Fashion division and ABNL's subsidiaries — Pantaloons Fashion and Retail (PFRL) and Madura Fashion & Lifestyle (MFL) in May 2015. Post the consolidation, PFRL was renamed Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd. ABFRL has various brands like people, Ralph Lauren, Van Heusen, Louis Philippe, Allen Solly, Forever 21, The Collective etc.

When I got admission in SCMHRD, the first thought that came into mind when I wanted to do shopping of formal clothes was ‘Van Heusen’. My cupboard in hostel is full of formals which always reminds me my shopping partner ABG.

ABG has not only contributed in my past but also it is connected with my future. ‘ABSL Mutual Fund’ is my investment partner. When I joined my job, I started my investment. I started with Aditya Birla Mutual Fund. I am investing in ABSL Frontline Equity & ABSL Equity Advantage Fund, which are best available SIPs. ABSLMF is one of the largest funds in the country. It’s a JV of ABG & Sun Life Financial.

So even without being noticed, ABG has become a part of life and a thread connecting lives which gives meaning to life. It is deeply connected in our lives that it has made every phase wonderful, easy and memorable.
