How ABG is abc to xyz. - IIM Kashipur

Very first thing that comes to my mind when I listen ABG is the UltraTech Cement. We just made our house a year back and UltraTech Cement was used in the whole process where ever required. This is available in the market very easily and at a very reasonable price.

When it comes to fashion, ABG provides a large number of men’s clothing brand. Van Heusen, Allen Solly, Peter England and Louis Philippe, all are ABG’s fashion brands. Whenever I visit any mall for shopping, I directly start looking for Pantaloons where I find every cloth for me at a very reasonable price.

Everyone one of us is well aware of ABG’s telecom venture Idea cellular which just merged with Vodafone India . We in our family of 5 members are using idea network from past many years. Even while posting this, I am using idea 4G internet. Idea provides a high speed 3G internet which I think is most essential thing in today’s era.

Insurance has become one of the most important thing in every person’s life. Aditya Birla Capital (ABC) is the umbrella brand for all the financial services business of ABG. ABC is the holding company for Aditya Birla Finance Limited, Aditya Birla Health Insurance Limited, Aditya Birla Insurance Brokers Limited, Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance. We all in my family have health and life insurance with ABC.

So as I said earlier we are covered by ABG in almost every form of our life. It’s not just about me, ABG has a very BIG involvement in everybody’s life.

How I overcame challenges to achieve my ambitions in life so far?

For me Challenge is a synonym of Motivation. Whenever a new challenge comes in my life the ‘De’ of the demotivation goes away. There are many times when I failed in my life but new challenges brought me up to fight and imbibe never give up spirit. Let me write about the very recent incidents happened with me.

During the month of  August 2018, I was stuck between my present work and future aspirations. I was suffering from bad health issues and was neither performing good in my work nor preparing for CAT. On 13^th September ( my b’day ) I challenged myself that if I want to become a good manager in future then I have to excel in all 3 departments. Then I hit the gym, wrote around 100 sikuli scripts alone for an application and got rewarded for the same and here I am in IIM kashipur after excelling in CAT. I managed to gain 7 kg weight (47 à 54) in 50 days and that was a biggest transformation for me.

Only thing that I want to add now is that challenges and obstacles will always be there but its upon us how we tackle all this. I did managed my time prudently and achieved a target of reaching into an IIM. I am ready to face the new challenges in this new journey of B-School.
