This is how Aditya Birla Group has influenced me in different ways; directly or indirectly.
Challenges always help a person grow. I too faced a challenge once and that taught me a life lesson that I still carry with me.
During my 10th grade board examination i was already having difficulty coping up with studies as i have not been a studious person since my childhood. My only respite from all this was sitting with my grandfather for a day and he would tell me stories about his childhood. On the day after my first exam i was getting late for my examination thus could not visit my grandparents and left for the examination venue. After completing the exam, I was thrilled to reach home to them and tell them how good my exam went. To my shock, when i reached home i could see a large crowd with my father and mother crying outside, I got really worried and inquired to find out that my grandfather had passed away. I got depressed and couldn't focus on any other work.
Apart from the fact that one key person was no longer with me in my life I had to face the fact that I could not speak with him for one last time. He was a really important part of my day and I couldn't imagine losing him suddenly.
Gradually I learned and accepted the fact that he was no longer with me in my life and that everyone leaves with time, I also learned that we cannot control certain things and they happen for a reason. I realised that for healing it is necessary to face your grief and deal with it.
I came out of this grieving experience with a newfound love for life and knowing that whatever happens, happens for a reason.
