There is no specific preparation for group exercise. Usually, a creative task is allocated to the group, such as designing a poster, creating a jingle, creating a newspaper cover page, etc. The panel observes mainly how you behave in the group and how you are as a person in the group. Do you lead the lead, encourage people to talk, or boss around with your idea.

Snippets From My Interview
So in my interview, the panel did not grill me, and it was more like a conversation, wherein they were trying to understand me as a person. The panel asked me questions concerning why a profile switch because I am a Chartered Accountant and roles & the industry I want to work for after MICA. We had a conversation around my favourite brand and some underperforming brands and what can be done in terms of marketing strategy to improve the brand's performance. The panel asked me to state a CSR activity with a story factor to the entire move and its impact on the target audience. They asked about which courses, particularly subjects they offer, and some history about MICA.
That's it :)
It was a fun and relaxed conversation.
Pro tip: Do not beat around the bush if you don't have an answer. Just say that you are not aware and will delve into the topic later with a smile. The interviewer will be happy and content with this reply since there is usually a paucity of time and half baked answers don't resonate well with the panel.
Good luck, future MICAns
