Professors were brilliant and but so were the students; even more so. “DCP” was the norm in some classes whose tag was held by some superficial humans. Time management was the key to success. Lectures were full of fun and knowledge, except for a few. Reaching class in five minutes from hostels had now become a routine. Clothes were washed only when they actually smelled. Bathing was no better than deodorant. Breakfast was costlier in terms of inventory to the caterers. And, then, you talk about any industrial professional discussions; some were such experts as if they themselves founded that industry.
Rahul doubted whether he belonged to this planet or not. Everywhere there was a lot of knowledge, food, fun, cases, etc. to take in, what was finally named “Peer2Peer Learning”.
The B-school life is so complex than any other college life, that people sometimes start thinking about what the hell they did during the last 20 years of their lives! Suddenly, "someone" called Rahul and asked him to join the class. He came out of his thoughts. The coffee cup, which was almost empty now, was thrown into the dustbin as he went into the classroom. Again? Yes, for the sake of Peer2Peer Learning!
If you want to succeed in a B-school, you need not be hardworking but you need to be smart enough to tackle each and every person you meet here and manage your time properly. There are people who manage to get good grades, decent jobs and the love of their life (sometimes). Even they study less and have enough spare time to enjoy life. On the other hand, there are a majority of people who just get into the rat race of getting best grades, best jobs and their better second half but the complexity and variability in B-School land them nowhere.
Prioritizing right things is a long-term success mantra you get to learn here. These two years at a B-School teach you the way of living and provide you with enough opportunities to hone your skills and precious time to reflect on yourself.
