The most striking feature is the number of industry faculty that the institute gets and the amount of learning you get from them. The amount of experience each professor brings with them is unmatched and is a shift from the theoretical approach to learning that we were used to before. This approach makes attending lectures an interesting part of the MBA journey as you don’t want to miss upon the knowledge shared in the lectures as that is the current trend in the industry and would help you once you enter into the corporate world.
JBIMS has provided everyone with a platform to engage with such industry stalwarts on a daily basis, an opportunity which most would envy. JBIMS makes sure that you don’t miss on the most important aspect of the MBA journey that is the practical learning that translates into an industry ready management professional at the end of two years. Halfway through my MBA journey, I could proudly say that what the institute lacks in infrastructure is covered up by the learning and this really is the place that gives you the most knowledge per square feet.
Which ABG Company would you want to work for and why?
At ABG I would like to work for Ultratech Cement. India has always been on the back foot when it comes to infrastructure and there is a lot of scope for development. Many people living in cities live in slums and the roads in India are still not on par with even some of the developing nations. A lot of infrastructure projects are coming across the country from affordable housing projects to new highways and railways. An important aspect to make these projects successful is cement. Cement industry plays an important role in the development of the nation and it would be exciting to be a part of such an industry in the developing years of the country.
