Does World Bank or SEBI recruit from Indian B-Schools?

2 Jan 2016, 08.38 PM

Student Team 2015-16

World Bank does have an internship program which one can be a part of right after they are done with their B-school studies. However, the applications for the same occur off-campus. There is no concrete principle regarding securing full-time positions there for MBAs as they have a strong preference for PhD graduates. SEBI does offer summer internships to students from select B-schools in the country. One can even join SEBI only after having cleared their entrance examination (held annually).

Regarding SEBI, the minimum qualification to apply for a job there is graduation (any stream). Having a B-School degree/diploma wont give them any advantage w.r.t remuneration or designation.
