Being a Civil Engineering graduate, I spent most of my time in Concrete lab doing projects in the final year. Hence I cannot miss out on Ultra Tech Cement - India’s No.1 Cement.
The plethora of businesses that ABG is a part of makes it one of the most sought after business firms among MBA graduates. If given a chance I would definitely like to be a part of Aditya Birla Group. This inspires me to do better and improve myself.
As an undergraduate, I was extensively involved in my college community. During the fifth semester, my fellow batchmates and I established the first Rotaract Club of the institute. This club participated in social challenges across the city of Mangalore. In the ensuing months, the group organized multiple events including a very successful blood donation drive and Voting Awareness Campaign during the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections.
I pursued my schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya. This shaped me into a much wiser individual as it gave me an opportunity to interact with students of diverse cultural backgrounds. It helped me achieve a broad and sophisticated worldview as I realized how culture and upbringing mold an individual’s thought process. It made me more independent and self-reliant. But most importantly it helped me truly appreciate the value of education and admire “learning” as a process.
I joined Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited as a Graduate Apprentice Trainee (Engineer). I was posted away from home and being the only female working staff, this job made me capable of taking risks by stepping out of my comfort levels which I believe is the primary way to grow as an individual.
My pursuit for knowledge has led me to study in one of the premier institutes of learning, IIM Trichy. My Mother has been one of the biggest driving forces behind this accomplishment. Today I find my self amongst the brightest of minds in the country who are all capable of making an impact in the industry at large. I firmly believe that this adventure of self improvement shall leads us all to making our aspirations to reality.
