One ubiquitous recommendation has been to strengthen quantitative skills. We have a dedicated subject for the same, but I believe it requires extra efforts to speed up calculations. I have been practising examples from QM book religiously in order to get a grasp on these skills and also bolster my discerning skills. Though I have a bit of work experience, the knowledge of Excel required for management purposes is a demanding one. I have been attempting to solve as many problems as possible, took an online course but the expanse of the subject never ceases to exist.
“Competition is the keen cutting edge of business, always shaving at costs.”- Henry Ford. Though I am at an amateur stage considering business acumen, I have been participating in various business competitions registered on D2C platforms, I have even reached the second stages of two of them. These are actually building in me the tendency to contest as well as dealing with consistent defeats in an energetic way, which will eventually aid me in the corporate world.
And lastly, I am trying to connect with new cohorts and build a rapport, probably this may help me in the future. I am also trying to remain connected with my seniors ranging from current college, previous college to the previous company for getting valuable insights for the tough road ahead.
Accomplishing a B-School test, I believe, is how you adapt yourself fruitfully. The road ahead is a demanding one but implementing requisite changes can glorify your path.
