How I overcame challenges in life.
Well if I were to speak about the challenges that I faced constantly, then I'd go with yielding to herd mentality. This includes peer pressure to allowing mainstream consumerism and allowing anything that has a high following to look legit and attractive to us (even if it's wrong).
I grew up listening to how important engineering was, and it was obvious that people who have an excellent academic score must take Science. Being obsessed with marks, I did take up engineering only to realise that it was not meant for me. I got the campus placements in the college in the core field but did not enjoy working there. That's when I decided to switch my career path and ended up with a Sales job. It was an extremely gruelling process, but ultimately, I learned a ton from it. I got a lot of exposure, and that was one of the reasons why I decided to do my MBA.
People who are part of the herd tend to direct their attention outside of themselves. They believe that success is associated with outward manifestations that can be viewed by others and can also be measured.
