SIMSREE Vs IRMA: Which B-School Is Right For You?

I can see a lot of misconception about IRMA : 1. " IRMA offeres a highly specialized program" - This doesn't mean we don't study subjects which is taught in other B-Schools. Anyone after completeing MBA from IRMA can join any sector he/she likes (Just have a LinkedIn search to understand the diverse Alumni presense along all the sectors you can think about). Our course curriculum includes all the subejcts of a normal B-School (Economics, Statistics & Analytics, Financial Accounting, Financial Management etc) with some additional subjects like RSP,ELS etc. 2. "IRMA is suitable for students specifically looking to work in NGOs or Govt Sectors" - Again a huge misconception. You can choose anything after IRMA, be it corporate sector or development sector - and will get the benifit of brand IRMA equally because of the alumni presense. Just for the information, around 30 corporate organization couldn't get students for internship because there were no student left. 3. "Commited to the development of Rural India"- Irma is not a development studies school like TISS. It is a management school, where we are traind to provide business solutions of problems. The difference is, other B-Schools focus only on urban problems/ urban organization's problem, whereas we study both the urban and rural spectrum. 4. You mentioned about T.I.M.E b-school ranking, but strangely haven't mentioned Career Luncher's B-School ranking, may I know the reason? To sum up, I will suggest not to rely only on the informations available in the website while comparing b-schools- they are just the tip of the icdberg. A more in depth, analytical study can provide a much better perspective and a holistic view about the B-Schools. Regards,

Future workers must be well-trained in emerging technologies and values associated with those technologies. The b-schools need to continuously reinvent and evolve with industry 4.0 to avoid “shortage of skills” in the near future. https://www.mbarendezvous.com/general-awareness/changing-dynamics-of-mba-education/
