“The Bridge- connecting emotions” Mayand Dron #IIMTrichy. When we see around our ambiance, we are somehow surrounded by innumerous brands and their products. Brand with different objectives and visions catering to this society to their fullest so that they could gain acceptance from this competitive market and society. Here comes Aditya Birla Group into picture which was founded by Seth Shiv Narayan Birla in 1857 and has continued catering to this society since then. At first I would like to say a big THANK YOU to Aditya Birla Group who has been the biggest mediator between my grandmom and me since long. My grandmother, whom I consider as my lifeline and the biggest source of happiness lives in a small village called Garahi where we lacked even basic facilities. Today if I am in touch with my grandmom without any hindrance, it is just because of your service that you provide through your telecom industry i.e.. Idea. My village is not that developed and using mobile phone becomes tough when you don’t have a proper network. There are other networks available who claims their pan India availability but reality is something completely different. But just because of the network that Idea provides really made it convenient to talk with anyone sitting anywhere in India. Today I could not only talk but also could see my grandmom and other family members through video call and that also without any network interruption. The quality of network that Idea provides, specially in rural areas has helped so many people like me by bringing them more closer. We, the grandmom and the grandson bestow our regards and thankfulness to Aditya Birla Group for keeping this relationship alive and many other relationships who can feel each other through your service and facilities on daily basis. “Udaan- let the bird inside you fly” Our male dominant patriarchal society has always framed a set of rules and regulations which they expect everyone to follow it. If we go against it, our identity and existence becomes a question mark to them. The same happened with me when I decided to pursue my dream in dancing which I feel the almighty has blessed me with. My mother often say that I used to dance even when I was in her womb. And when I got two feet, I openly adorned the beauty of dance in me by taking training into Indian classical dance form Bharatanatyam. Initially it was all good as I was a kid and kids are generally ignored for the work they do considering it as their childish attitude. But as I continued performing classical dance, people started looking at me as if I am doing some crime. My dance form was never been appreciated and always considered as some feminine thing which I keep on doing. I was even termed with certain adjectives which was enough to kill someone from inside. I then started questioning my decision of learning Bharatanatyam . But fortunately I was surrounded by few really great dignitaries who motivated me on my every step of life that it’s the duty of society to criticize you and it is your call whether you take it in negative or positive way. I bow my head under thy feet who taught me not to disrespect the talent that the almighty has bestowed me and I should continue my journey in the field of dancing being a strong and responsible performer.
