Name an instance where you wanted something and went out of your comfort zone to achieve it OR Tell us the biggest risk you have taken so far in your life.
Every persons life has been changed by expected or unexpected events. For me, my life has been through various events that altered my life. Despite all the events I have been through, my college years were a special event because its the source of me becoming the person I am today. College for me was similar to a dream, however, some parts of my college years felt I was experiencing hallucinations. Also, college augments the stress of a student to another level. Starting off with the most important of all is turning in all assignments on time. This simple responsibility made me more responsible throughout high school and up until now. Therefore, all my teachers saw me as a reliable student, and they would know that I would do all the assignments on time. One way I executed this responsibility was by staying on task on every homework and assignment. Another most important was the day when I held the position of Vice President. That position of responsibility taught me the importance of ignoring the negativity around us and just focusing on the main goals. It helped me in becoming an extrovert from an introvert.
When was the last time someone relied on you? OR What did you do which was purely for someone else - a truly selfless act.
Let me share an experience from the internship at EY. So, I was given to do research on the MSME sector and the project was extremely important and the client has given very little duration to complete the project because of this everyone used to have the extra workload to do. Initially, we were three people on the team apart from partners. I was one of the two interns on that project. So, that was the time when I have the orders from the partners and manager to be ready to wake up the call at 1 in the night and work. Actually, it happened too. This was even made strenuous as my term 4 classes were going on. So, managing both things simultaneously was tough but I eventually did out of exploration even kept up to the expectations of the managers.
Tell us about a time when you disagreed with an opinion/idea/decision. What did you do about it?
This happened with me during lots of case competitions I participated in as we have to work in teams of mostly 3 or 4. Many times, my opinion was to do something else that others were not focusing on and that found to be fruitful too. But I think its not about a difference of opinion but its the lack of communication and understanding of the things and this is possible from both sides. Also, one parameter that comes into the picture here is the level of trust you have in the particular person.
What is the one thing you can claim to have some level of expertise or depth of knowledge in - it could be anything - a subject, a sport, a hobby, a venture, an initiative which has led you to do deep work in that field?
Kite Flying - The only game I can proudly claim to have a deep level of expertise is Kite Flying. I am into this since I was 8 years old and still enjoy the game with the same level of love.Volunteering- It helps me in interacting with people, dealing with both expected and unexpected situations out of my daily life. It helps me to build my inner strength and handle any distractions in my personal life. Volunteering helps me in engaging with the outside world successfully and safely. Moreover, volunteering helps to build the network, which can provide new employment opportunities. Taking care of animals- This is one of the things that I am most passionate about and loves doing. I have fostered many kittens, pups, and squabs to date. From providing food, medication to building cardboard nests, dog shelters, I always try my best to cater to the needs of animals that are in need.
