Part B- My life is nothing of the sort that will make you all motivated and energetic. You will not be hearing any motivational soundtrack while reading this.
Now that the disclaimer is given, I come from a small city called Etawah in U.P. The most noteworthy contribution of my city is that it produced 2 Chief Ministers of U.P. Other than that, the city seems to be still in the late 90s. And this was the most challenging thing I faced in my life. At each and every step, the growth rate of the city was a hurdle to my dreams. Life was good. I did my 12th from the best school in the city, completed my B. Tech in Mechanical and decided to help my father with the family business. From here, my real life began.
I used to reach at the shop by 8:30 am and remain till 9:30 pm (cheers to MBA rigor) with flexibility in lunch timings and duration (perks of own business). Those who have studied Statistics must have some idea about the arrival rate. For me, it was close to 0.5/hour. The amount of time spent on shop and its outcome was so largely mismatched, that within a month, I decided to go for higher studies. I had the full support of my parents, but I didn’t want to increase any more expenditure for my father. So, I joined some coaching in the city itself. With the pace it was going, CAT 2017 started to look like a distant dream. And leaving that coaching was the best decision of my life. I bought a test series and started giving tests everyday after 10:00 pm. Initially I had trouble in clearing my doubts, but with time, internet solved most of those problems. And now, here I am, with only 1 year remaining in my MBA.
Most of you will not find it challenging enough (disclaimer was already given), but that is my story.
