Most of the families have a dream to build and live in their own house. My family had a similar dream a decade ago. But to make our dream come true was not an easy task, as we are of the middle class, we were having the budget constraints. So we focussed on the cost-cutting strategies, during which we had to decide on cement we need to use for the construction. Cement is one such factor in which you can never compromise on the quality. So we were looking at
different brands of cement manufacturers and later came to the conclusion that Ultratech Cement is the best in terms of reasonable costing as well as in terms of quality. We were more than pleased to see the savings we had on cement by opting to Ultratech Cement and its quality has proven to be unparalleled. In this manner, Ultratech Cement has played a crucial role in fulfilling my family's dream of having our own house.
Apart from Ultratech Cement, I had long lasting connect with Idea Cellular Limited, Pantaloons and Peter England.
Life is stagnant without challenges. Challenges push us in difficult situations and give us opportunities to become better individuals. It is up to the individuals to rise above the challenge or fall behind. This is how I treat every challenge in my life and I feel like our positive attitude to face and overcome a challenge can do wonders for us.
One of the biggest challenges I overcame in my life is my poor Verbal Ability and Reading
Comprehension (VARC) skills which remained as the hurdle in my path to qualify for CAT. In
2017 while I was preparing for CAT, VARC was one section I was very poor at. After writing
the CAT 2017 exam and as the results were declared, the scorecard reflected the same. Despite having impressive percentiles in the other two sections, my VARC section was well below the cutoff mark. Although disappointed with the result, it was not a shock to me. At that moment, I realized where I stand in my VARC skills and looked at it as an opportunity for me to take up the challenge and overcome it to fulfill my goal. I spent most of the time on
reading books, articles written by renowned writers, increasing my reading speed, etc. Despite these efforts, I also had to overcome my fear towards VARC section in the exam, so I developed a positive attitude that I can perform well in the VARC section. Gradually my performance improved in the mock tests. This has boosted my confidence levels. Later in CAT 2018, I had qualified with decent percentile in VARC section.
This is how I overcame one of the biggest challenges in my life. In my opinion, challenges are the ones that help you become a better individual and your positive attitude towards thechallenges makes you get ahead of them gradually.
