Will India’s Smart Cities Take IoT To The Next Level

smart city plan is definitely an appreciable plan of incumbent govt. as part of "mission transform nation". though IoT sounds bit bizarre but with stretching accessibility of broadband services, decreasing cost of connecting, smart phones penetrating every segment of the market, more devices being built with inbuilt sensors, the plan seems set to succeed. majority of us are still sceptical about its mechanism and bonafide benefits it's supposed to dispense. it's no more a utopian dream as it has already been functional in many countries. In Bangalore, Cisco is working to set up a smart grid-based Education City, where all the utilities will be integrated with data.Outside Mumbai, the Lodha group has given IBM a contract to build all data systems in their Palava city project.

iot is a netwrk of miscellaneous devices with on and off switch and internet. simplifying it further , iot is a concept where devices like ur cell phone, coffee maker, toaster, washing machine, head phone ,lamps will get interconnected via internet to facilitate you in best possible way. let's take an example of real life to elucidate it -suppose u wake up at 6 am .devices and other people connected wth you will take notice of it and act accordingly. coffee maker may start brewing coffee, treadmill could inform you that u're getting late for a meeting. what if any device tells you that your productivity increases after having particular lunch! it certainly opens the door for innumerable opportunities but challenges also lie ahead. ppl are apprehensive about the potential threats to security of information. if one hacks any of the gadget in your iot ,ur privacy of information will unfold.
