Not everything was sweet, I met my fair share of arch enemies soon enough, but when time came (the Louis Litt of my story) turned out to be the perfect friend and came to my aid saying "I can't stand it, but it's part of the family"
And soon among new friendships, of my very own Joey, Rachael and Phoebe, I found the Jim to my Pam over the song of "Sing by Travis", the Chandler to my Monica and life took a turn from assignments and case studies to Sunday brunch and late-night walks.
In the middle of committee work and academics, I grew up from a struggling Carrie Bradshaw to a confident Miranda Hobbes re-iterating "Don't forget to love yourself first" and realizing, "Maybe you have to let go of who you are to become who you will be"
Life in XIMB is still a long way to go but with great friends who already seem like a family, days are simpler and I know they will be there for me...
"When it hasn't been your day, your week, your month
Or even your year, but
'll be there for you
(When the rain starts to pour)
I'll be there for you
(Like I've been there before)
I'll be there for you
('Cause you're there for me too)"
