In today’s world growing up with branded products has not only been a way of fashion but also a style of living and a sign of loyalty towards that brand. I have always been a loyal customer to Aditya Birla Group especially the Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited (ABFRL). The Fashion industry of Aditya Birla has divided its customers according to their preferences and purchasing power. No customer in the market is not in the position of not buying anything. Ranging from Louis Vuitton to Pantaloons it is affordable for everyone. I have always been a regular customer in forever 21. By acquiring Forever 21 in the year 2016 ABG group tried to create a strong foothold in womenswear business. This proposal has led to the strong leadership of ABG in the fashion space. In the year 1989, the Aditya Birla group acquired Madhura garments with the deal of $1.89 billion and quickly believed in brand extension from male-oriented store to female merchandise. They started this trend revolution from Allen Solly and then to Van Heusen for showing professionalism and women empowerment in the context of business casuals which showed an increment of 42% revenue within one year. After 7 years they also targeted on kid’s section with the thought of acquiring the whole fashion market within any age group. They also opened an e-commerce site named as ABOF which was disposed of soon due to non-profitability. Apart from the Fashion industry, the organization has come out with flying colours in other areas like cement (Ultra Tech Cement), telecom services, financial services, textile business. Challenges Faced Ever since I was a child, I wanted to represent myself and my country on bigger platforms. This has been a dream not only of mine but also of my parents. I was never a confident, smart or courageous person. I even used to fear to talk in a group of 4 or 5. In due course, I realized that being an independent and confident person is the most important role of human life. I started learning things which gave me happiness. I learnt Bharatnatyam and for the first time in my life, I performed in front of more than 200 spectators. After I received motivation through such performances and by my parents, I decided to take part in the elocution competition for the first time. At that very moment, I Won 3rd prize. The position of the rank didn’t bother me at all unless I felt confident while standing on the stage addressing a huge amount of audience. Later on, during my college level competitions, I won various personality contests, dance competitions and Just a Minute Speech. During my college tenure, I also took part in a local pageant competition named as Miss Fabb India where I was selected as a finalist. After a complete change in my personality, I decided to go for Miss India auditions where I could not make it due to height criteria. Therefore, I decided to establish my passion for dance and learnt various forms of dance like Bharatnatyam, Kathak, Belly Dance, jazz funk. I have also assisted my teachers in teaching a huge amount of crowd. Today, I stand as a learned dancer and a self-reliant person with an ambition of acquiring professional certification in each dance type mentioned above and also finally represent my country with the help of dance in near future
