Established in 1981, S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR) - India’s top business school aims to “foster responsible innovation that creates value-based growth to benefit society".

SPJIMR's Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is a two-year, full-time residential program that is deemed equivalent to an MBA. This is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and The Association of MBAs (AMBA), U.K. The program offers four specializations – Finance, Information Management, Marketing, and Operations & Supply Chain. The goal of the PGDM program is to develop young, value-based leaders who balance profit and social purpose. With our participant centric approach, we strive to provide a superior learning experience by encouraging team work and facilitating experiential learning. Apart from a host of pioneering non-classroom activities like Abhyudaya, DOCC(Development of Corporate Citizenship), ADMAP(Assessment and Development of Managerial and Administrative Potential), PG LAB and Science of Spirituality, participants are exposed to high levels of global relevance, especially by way of specialized courses and projects with our globally ranked international partner schools.
Eligibility: CAT/GMAT: 85%ile
Admission Process:
The applicants are shortlisted on the basis of their profiles. They are also expected to meet the qualifying scores in at least one of the entrance exams. The profiles are scored and the applicants are sorted into two groups: Profile based and Profile cum Score based. Various factors are considered for selection of applicants such as- Overall profile, Academic background, Work experience, Entrance scores, Versatility and achievements.
While applying, the applicant is required to select from one of four specializations offered: Finance, Information Management, Marketing and Operations & Supply Chain.
Shortlists:
Applicants shortlisted in the first group are called for an early interview. The shortlist is based on their profile considering the following factors: Consistency of academic record, relevance of work experience for the specialization, versatility and achievements.
Second phase shortlists: This phase is held after the availability of entrance test scores. Applicants in this phase are called for interviews on basis of their profile as given above, along with their performance in the entrance tests.
Selection: The selection list is based on a composite score, which takes into account the applicant’s profile, academic record, entrance test scores (CAT/ GMAT), relevance of work experience (if any) and performance in the two rounds of group interviews.
