With these, I was selected to do my summer internship with Tube Investments of India Ltd. I was involved in two projects during my internship. The first one involved, being a part of the High-Performance Work Culture Interventions initiatives at TI India. I was assisting a very senior professional at the organization, who was kind enough to let me understand the big picture behind this initiative. Assisting in this project helped me understand the organizational level thought process and implementations, and also as to how it is communicated to the levels below.
The second project involved HR-Analytics in trying to understand the impact of manpower cost in an engineering company. Again, it gave me an understanding of how the top management looks at the component of manpower cost apart from the production cost, machinery cost, so on and so forth.
The learning from these two projects have stimulated my thought process and have equipped me with important learnings to move forward. This learning will definitely help me have an upper hand in terms of my understanding of the subject and will provide a base for me to build on it.
My mentors at the organization guided me throughout the internship period and provided me with valuable insights about the Human Resources Department that will surely stay on with me forever.
