About the Project:
It was a live project on handling the demand side faced by distribution channels through a replenishment system. Some of the challenges which I faced were in deciding the scope as it was entirely on me to make what I could out of the project. It also involved dealing with agencies both inside and outside the firm which meant being flexible and prioritizing at times.
Key Learnings:
1. Field work is important: You will get to know about the finer details only when you spend time in the field which in my case was talking to distributors and warehouse managers. They spoke about their practical concerns and updated me on the current scenario.
2. Experience matters: Your guides and mentors have faced the same issues as you are facing and they are the best resources available with you to deal with them. It is your imperative to reach out and seek advice from as many people in the firm as you can.
3. Tell it like a story: You need to tell your findings and compilations like a story. Presentations have to be look good and you can cite GOT references to make them more interesting.
